Storytime
I'll never forget my first job at a local newspaper. I was assigned to the advertising department, where one of my actual responsibilities was updating the horoscope section every day.

Technically, I was supposed to copy and paste the predictions that came from a fortune teller. But unfortunately for everyone involved, I've always suffered from a dangerous level of creative initiative.
So after a while, I started rewriting the horoscopes myself based entirely on my mood and whether a Leo had annoyed me recently.
I suppose you could call that the beginning of a career in storytelling that somehow took me from inventing fake emotional forecasts for strangers to working at prestigious agencies and creating campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world.
